Elite Baseball’s 14u program is designed to help prepare our players success at the high school level. Our philosophy is about development and learning the skills and abilities necessary to succeed in high school baseball. There will be an emphasis on practice throughout the year in order to develop in the areas that will allow for on field success in the future.


Program Outline

Fall Season

  • 3-4 Local Tournaments/Double Headers
  • 2 practices per week, one outdoor, one indoor
  • Outdoor practices will be at Sherwood High
  • Indoor practices will be at Elite Baseball’s indoor facility
  • Season will run from early September to mid October

Off Season

  • In November and December we will have one optional hitting practice per week
  • We plan on offering some strength training in our indoor facility as well
  • We will encourage our players to play other sports, off season practices are not mandatory
  • January and February we will practice twice a week in our indoor facility. We will be utilizing our Trackman System to get metrics and video of our players throughout the off season in order to track progression

Spring Season

  • 3-4 local tournaments starting in April
  • 2 practices per week indoor/outdoor (weather permitting) @Sherwood and our indoor facility

Summer Season

  • 5-6 Tournaments, most local, will travel for 1 or 2
  • Season will be May through early to mid July
  • 1-2 practices per week

Program Highlights

  • Access to our experienced coaching staff
  • Use of our Trackman System to record pitching/hitting metrics and video throughout the season
  • Access to our 5,000 sq. foot indoor facility equipped with 3 hack attack pitching machines and weight room
  • Local Tournaments to minimize travel and expenses allowing for more practice time to develop
  • Opportunity to advance to our showcase program when players reach high school (our showcase program has placed over 300 players into college baseball)
